Dr John is an internationally renowned medical professional with more than 23 years of experience. He is an expert in Liaison Psychiatry and General Adult Psychiatry. Dr John is a well-known writer and educator. He has written a number of books and has produced a broad selection of audio and video blues and New Orleans Piano lessons for Homespun tapes. He also composed and performed the score of the film version of John Steinbeck’s Cannery Row. He has also performed live with the Band and the Rolling Stones, as well as other music luminaries.

He is registered with the General Medical Council in the UK and is listed on the Specialist Register of General Adult Psychiatry, and is also endorsed for Old Age Psychiatry. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and is a member of several international professional bodies.
